Today |
The agency is headed by Earl Anthony Lamb, Jr., (Wesley Heffner's grandson), and Robert Pfeffer. Both their sons are also currently with the agency. For well over 85 years we have provided an excellent market for agents and brokers who need access to carriers beyond those they directly represent. As a company, we are dedicated to the 'free market' agency system, and therefore believe in providing the most comprehensive products, coverages, and services available to all our clients. |

Legacy |
The Heffner Agency was founded by Wesley E. Heffner at the age of 53 during the depths of the Great Depression in 1933. We still proudly represent Quincy Mutual Fire Insurance Company, the first company to appoint us as an agent that same year. Soon after the founding, Wesley Heffner was joined by Earl A. Lamb who later became his son-in-law. Together they built the agency which became the present day Heffner Agency, Inc. Over the years the principals of the agency have served the insurance industry through their work with the Professional Insurance Agents Association and its predecessor, the Mutual Insurance Agents Association. Earl A. Lamb and Robert J. Pfeffer served as president of the New York Association. Earl A. Lamb also served as president of the National Association. |
